Thrivent Federal Credit Union, a faith-based ⛪️ financial institution, needed help reaching a broader, more diverse👨🏽 👩🏾🦱 Christian audience. We tackled the challenge by updating their online presence through digital strategy, a website redesign, brand video, and photoshoot 📸.
I established and led the visual design/creative production of the website and brand video. We developed a new look and feel for the front-of-login experience of their website, including a new responsive design. We created templates, a design system, and styleguide. The art direction focused on friendlines, approachability, and diversity. Instead of using stock, we produced and directed a photoshoot featuring their actual members, reinforcing authenticity.
The introductory brand video educated users on their faith-based principles, strong community, and the “joy of generosity.” Working with Thrivent’s copywriter, I developed concept story boards, illustration style, selected music, and worked with a motion designer to bring it to life.
